At 2nd Chance 2nd Home Inc., we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to rebuild their life with dignity, purpose, and hope. Our organization is dedicated to supporting formerly incarcerated individuals as they navigate the challenges of reentry by connecting them with resources, guidance, mentorship, and opportunities that encourage lasting stability and successful reintegration into the community.
WHO WE ARE
2nd Chance 2nd Home Inc. is a Delaware-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting formerly incarcerated individuals as they transition back into their communities.
We understand that returning home can bring challenges involving housing, employment, transportation, family relationships, access to essential resources, and simply knowing where to begin. Our goal is to help bridge the gap between release and stability by connecting individuals with resources, mentorship, life-skills development, employment readiness, and supportive community partnerships.
We believe a person's past should not determine the limits of their future. Through compassion, structure, accountability, and encouragement, we strive to help individuals move beyond simply returning home toward building stability, independence, and a renewed sense of purpose.

The organization was inspired by personal experiences and an understanding of how difficult it can be to move forward when past circumstances continue to create barriers to housing, employment, stability, and opportunity. We recognized that successful reentry requires more than simply returning to the community it requires support, guidance, resources, encouragement, and people who are willing to believe in someone's ability to begin again.
From that understanding, 2nd Chance 2nd Home Inc. was created to become a source of hope and connection for individuals navigating life after incarceration. We are building an organization that meets people where they are, recognizes their potential, and helps connect them with opportunities to move toward where they want to be.
What began as a vision continues to grow into a mission centered on rebuilding lives, restoring hope, and strengthening communities one second chance at a time.

Our vision is a community where individuals returning from incarceration are not defined by their past but are given meaningful opportunities to rebuild their lives, restore relationships, achieve stability, and create a successful future.
As 2nd Chance 2nd Home Inc. grows, we envision expanding our reentry services and developing safe, structured transitional housing opportunities for men and women returning to the community. Our long-term goal is to create an environment where individuals can access the support, resources, skills, and stability needed to successfully transition from incarceration to independent living.
